The GIGASET N720 DECT multi-cell system is a way for you to create your own telephone system in your company and have a wide range not only in classic offices, but also in production halls and in the open air. First of all, it's the DECT Manager N720 DM PRO that you plug into a switch or router to connect to the Internet via an eternet cable.

It allows mutual wireless connection of 20 DECT base stations and their completely easy configuration, allowing up to 100 employees to be mobilely available on the entire company's land.
DECT coverage is as flexible as economical: "Our customers can free themselves from the mobile network," notes Eduard Schmidhofer, CEO of Gigaset Communications Austria. The overall solution is also flexible because the N720 DECT IP can be easily connected to an existing Gigaset telephone system. In conjunction with gigaset T300 and T500 devices, automatic setup ensures that base stations automatically download the necessary data from telephone systems as soon as they are connected.
Installing DECT stations is also simple: just attach them to the wall or ceiling in the room and connect the LAN cable. No separate power cable is required. "The N720 DECT IP multi-cell system uses PoE technology (Ethernet power) so stations can take - very low - the current needed to work from the data network," says Schmidhofer. A special measuring aid helps you choose the right place to install individual stations.
The system offers coverage for up to 100 users (snaps) and allows up to 30 calls at a time. Up to eight calls can be made at each of the 20 stations. If the user moves during the telephony, the base station automatically moves the call to the next base station without the user even noticing: "Each station is intelligent, so it can determine which of the adjacent stations is fully mined and which has spare capacities. The call moves where there are spare capacities," explains Eduard Schmidhofer.
High Definition Sound Performance (HSDP), a technology that allows voice transmission in excellent quality, is particularly interesting for corporate customers. "You only need two phones that support this feature, and an IP connection," says Eduard Schmidhofer . "Gigaset N720 DECT IP facilitates the use of HSDP via DECT and occupies only one DECT channel in addition. The system runs in HDSP mode while it handles up to 30 HDSP connections."
