The detector performs a regular automatic test and regularly reports to the system so that the system has perfect supervision over it. Detection characteristics can be optimized with interchangeable lenses to protect long corridors, to limit the triggering of an alarm by the movement of a pet, or to a vertical curtain.
The JA-180P also has a wire input to which another detector can be connected, e.g. magnetic door or window opening detector.
