After recording the pir movement with the detector, the microwave detector is activated to confirm the presence of a person. Only after confirmation from the MW detector shall an alarm message be sent to the alarm system. Therefore, it is suitable for more problematic areas e.g. with fireplaces, air conditioning, etc.
Detection characteristics can be optimised using interchangeable lenses. This can be adjusted to protect long corridors, eliminate alarm triggering by movement of the pet or guard with a vertical curtain.
The detector is addressable and occupys one position in the system.
