The portable IC-A24E radio station is the successor to the IC-A23 type, from which it differs by the absence of the recorder, the lower price and, in particular, the significantly longer battery life per charge.
If you want to use the station as a replacement for the vehicle and connect it to the air helmet, you must purchase an OPC-499 reduction cable to the station. The interface on the station is the same as that of the older IC-A3 or IC-A22 model. The station does not contain a navigation.
The station's spreads are 54 x 129.5 x 35.5 mm and the station's weight is 430 g.
The station pack includes its own radio station, BP-210N battery, rechargeable BC-110DR, belt clip MB-103 and FA -B02AR antenna. The station's power is 1W carrier and 3.6 W PEP respectively.
The radio station can be supplied from an external 11V voltage source.

ANL Noise Reduction
VOR 108.000 MHz - 117.975 MHz
Common characteristics of IC-A6E and IC-A24E models:
Easy one-handed operation, large underhand display and under-11 buttons
200 memory locations with six channel descriptions, speed dialling of ten recently used channels
Direct selection of emergency frequency 121.5 MHz special button
ANL noise reduction
Water-resistant construction
A24E only:
VOR 108.000 MHz - 117.975 MHz
CDI (Course Deviation Indicator) - exception indicator for course navigation
For the radio station we recommend a stand-up box for charging BC-144N for Ni-Cd and Ni-Mh flashlights.
Or a more expensive stand-up box for charging BC-119N for Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh and Li-Ion flashlights. At the same time, these boxes can be used in full operation of radio stations.
