Basics in RF and EMF screening and shielding:

Please note that for professional RF screening (i.e. against mobile phone transmitters, mobile phones, portable DECT phones, radar etc.), hermetically sealed cases, the so-called "Faraday cage", must be constructed. Various dubious suppliers do not inform their customers of this fact for making quick money with the ignorance of their customers. Using a screening with 99% (20dB) efficiency, there would still be a noise level of 80dB(A). This would still be roughly equivalent to causing hearing damage (caused by 85dB(A)).

Even when using a screening of 99,9% (30dB) efficiency, a noise level of 70dB(A) would still be present. This would be equivalent to traffic noise next to a main road which would cause circulatory diseases.

Electromagnetic fields and public health: radars and human health

Often, suppliers even claim that screening a small part of a wall or window in the direction of a radiation source (such as a transmitter) is always sufficient to provide protection. This is complete nonsense and wrong, and its sole purpose is to make some quick money on the supplier. These claims.

Conclusion: Be sure to get the frequently extra supported misleading animations on the home pages of suppliers. Don't be fooled! Electric and electromagnetic waves are everywhere in our modern environment. These are formed in each place where electricity is produced, distributed and consumed. Significant exposure would be low frequency (LF) alternating field in the home and at work is ubiquitous. These are mostly caused by "invisible" power cables in the walls and ceilings of any building, but also devices attached to those like lamps, computers, Televisions, refrigerators, etc.. Even regular power lines (high voltage lines) can cause extremely high exposure, albeit hundreds of meters away. In addition to the aforementioned LF radiation, exposure to pulse radio (RF) or high frequency arrays has become increasingly difficult in recent years.
