HL120 is a low voltage limiter (LVL pursuant to SN EN 50123-5 and SN EN 50122-1) intended for the protection of non-live parts of metal structures in AC or DC traction systems. It is used for the effective protection of people who might come into contact with these parts during a lightning strike or in the case of faults in traction lines. HL is installed directly on the protected construction structure (using two M12 bolts) so that if it is activated it forms a conductive connection between this structure and the tracks. SPD
Low voltage limiter class 2.2 for AC ev. DC traction systems of public transport such as tram or trolleybus systems.
Intended for the protection of inanimate parts of metal structures.
They equalize the potential between non-living parts that are not conductively connected due to operating conditions.
They are used for the effective protection of persons who may come into contact with these parts in the event of lightning strikes or traction line failures.
They are installed directly on the protected building structure with a connection to the railway.
By short-circuiting the structure with the rail in the event of a failure, the rapid switch will react, which will interrupt the power supply to the traction line.
Resistant to vandalism, acid rain and mechanical damage.
