The R & S ® EM100 compact digital receiver has been specially designed as a cost effective mobile monitoring solution. Receiving traffic through remote control software and monitoring its functionality have been optimized for tasks that require handover of the receiver in combination with high-speed receiver search, for example. In addition, it can be used for a number of other applications.

The R & S ® EM100 compact digital receiver has an excellent set of functions for tracking transmissions, detecting in-terference, positioning transmitters or even going to function as a handover receiver. In addition, it is very compact and consumes very little energy. The R & S ® EM100 is the optimal solution for systems with a limited budget, combining cost-effectiveness with technical options that deliver the desired results. Combined with analytical software (such as the R & S ® GX430, for example), it provides users with a compact receiving and analysis system covering a wide frequency range from 9 kHz to 7.5 GHz. 

The receiver can be operated with various antennas such as broadband omnidirectional antennas and directional antennas. 

Despite its compact design, the entry-level R & S ® EM100 receiver offers a wide range of features otherwise only available on devices in higher price segments. Its favorable price/performance ratio is an indispensable tool for all kinds of task monitoring, where saving space integration and cost effectiveness are essential.

Software:

R & S ® EM100-Control software for remote control allows convenient and efficient operation 

receiver from the PC station. The R & S ® EM100-Control software, which comes free with the R & S ® EM100, is part of the R & S ® ramon family software. The software offers 

direct menu structure and intuitive operation, so training requirements for operational staff are minimal.

The complete features provided by the R & S ® THE EM100 compact digital receiver can be controlled using R & S ® EM100-Control software. The graphical user interface allows the operation of the receiver with easy-to-read online signal display as well as signal recording and playback. Op-based R & S ® Ramon software packages are available to greatly expand the range of features, such as handing over features to and from other receivers or sights, tasks and reporting, as well as database functions. R & S ® Ramon software components can be used to implement a customer specific radio system – from simple, standalone systems to nationwide network systems.
