Vizir is capable of servaling devices that are connected to networks. For example, switches, extension cords, divider boxes, telephone sockets, etc.

The principle of operation of the device is in the connection to the network, which has a sinusoid character and the registration of higher harmonic currents, which arise in the semiconductor elements of the devices that are connected to the line in order to perform the interception. The analysis of higher harmonics is done manually by adjusting the ellipse on the device display.

Some electronic elements may have their characteristic curvature on the resulting ellipse. These are two-way rectifiers and power supplies (fig. 2), transformers and sycoils of magnetic relays (fig. 3), one-way rectifiers and eavesdropping amplifiers
