Radio station ALINCO DJ-S45CQS

This radio station for the PMR 446 band (possibly + LPD) has, after a simple extension ( cut jumper - wire next to batteries, red wire ) to the entire band of 70 cm including jumps, CTCSS, 100 memory, etc. . And the greatest priority – for full power operation is enough 2 articles AA- solid.

The station has a very efficient end stage and low collection. The flashlights are put from the bottom, the battery cap cannot be lost, it is on the hinge and is secured with a latch. The contacts of the batteries are not only flexible strands, as is customary, but longer coiled springs seaged in the station.

The dimensions of the station are ideal - it just fits in the palm of your palm, and the thumb of the left hand or foreric index finger of the right fits on the PTT. PTT walks perfectly and has optimum position and dimensions. Functions – it has it in the menu everything, just SQL goes apart from the S-446 reasonably set without the menu – just hold MONI and then arrow keys to set SQL 0-20, so 21 steps. SQL opens to 2-3. So no custom interference ! Same noise on K1 to K8. Potentiometer with switch. Display beautifully contrasting and large.

Based on, without extension, the station can only pmr 446 or PMR 446 + LPD. After the extension ( by cutting the wire next to the batteries ) the range is Tx i Rx 420-470MHz (but if it switches to PMR mode, there will be an extra one of all 8 PMR channels 446 - CH1 to CH8), adjustable jumps of any, 100 memory for everything, of course there is no CTCSS, step is adjustable ANY including 6.25 kHz, 5-6,25-10-12,5-15-20-25-30 and 50kHz, so for example, CZ pro channels with step 20 kHz after expansion without problems , with the correct 10 kHz displacement, i.e. after odd speeds – e.g. 448,490MHz, then 448,510MHz, etc.! And to do ctcss tones is there 39! Simply universal radio station 70 cm at the price of PMR. The items in the MENU are: bee buttons, broadcast tones 100, 1450, 1750, 2100Hz and broadcast ringtones, automatic shutdown of Tx after 0 to 450 seconds, auto shutdown station for 0-120 minutes, batt. save, ringtones on arrival of the correct CTCSS and Rx frequency, Roger Beep, tx ban on the occupant channel, type of scanning, indication of which memory can be blown out of scanning (it has 100 for LPD and PMR), type of lighting - (nothing, permanently, after 5 s. goes off), the type of battery - this is the point at which it indicates discharged accumulators. The connectors for repro and microphone are separately, external power supply also separately - cavity as with all ALINCO.

The subscription station in standby is on average about 14mA, so the running time is incredibly long.

The Lo i Hi power can be adjusted by trimmings inside and set a greater value than 0.5W. For the S45E version, a maximum power of 2W is declared for external 6V and 1W power supply for Li-ION pack, which can also be inserted into this station instead of 2 AA cells.

• The sensitivity of the receiver is such that sql 2-3 are not difficult with PMR stations over the hill at a distance of 20 km.

• This station gives to the frak i Kenwood TH F7 E, MOTOROLE 6222, HOFER,i DNT-VT-8 ...

• Volume of playback by reserve, distortion - minimal, unkedable.

• Selectivity (channel) and resistance to penetration from the secondary channel very high.

I'm guessing 75-80 dB/25 kHz.

• Most importantly , when receiving at the sig.0-1 border, there is such a minimum noise of the environment that both the readable and absolutely scant signals that are already heavily distorted on other devices (hysterey of the detectors in the area of low levels of demodulated signal) are readable and absolutely scant.

Accessories for DJ-S45 CQL, CQS:

Can use the power supply with auschable accumulators AA, 2 pieces. We also have LI-ION batteries, type EBP-60, with a capacity of 1200mAh and a higher voltage of 3.7V. With them, the station for modification has a power of around 1W. They are charged using the EDC-138 stand-up charger, which is powered by the supplied adapter from the 100-230V network, and can be continued to power from 11 to 30V voltages via the EDH-33 car adapter. With this car adapter, you can power not only the charger, but also the station.

The beautiful EDC-138E stand-up charger can be charged after easy adjustment of the solid accumulators directly in the ALINCO S45! Just insert a piece of bush next to the batteries, etc. to switch the switch in the station – simulating the insertion of the LI-ION aku and switching to charging from the back contacts !

The device can also be purchased box to charge the original ALINCO 3.7V 1.2Ah battery.

This box cannot be used to charge on classic rechargeable batteries.

Just put the ALINCO radio station in the box, charging automatically.

The radio station may also be switched on in standby mode.

Set BOX with battery recommended, this gives you more transmitter power, and longer operating time of the radio station. Classic batteries that are inserted into ALINCA have only 2x 1.5V (3V) or rechargeable only 2x 1.2 (2.4V).

Just insert a piece of bushes etc next to the batteries to switch the switch in the station? simulating the insertion of the LI-ION aku and thus switches to charging from the back contacts! We don't recommend it.

It's not the manufacturer's recommendation, but it's going great. The EDC-138E charger is designed for LI-ION cells. Because the charger is very complex, it contains dozens of SMD components, IC, transistors, not worth it for charging AA somehow modify. It will therefore be used that the charger gives a stable voltage of 4,21 V with a current limitation to 0,58 A to any load, even a short circuit. The current does not move under a load of 2xAA or just an amperometer. So the cells will be charged with a constant current of 0.58 A, which is on the current NiMH aku. AA just right. The charging time will be about 4-5 hours, of course it will not turn itself off, so it must be guarded and must be eded off the rack in time.

And measured performances:

Before enlargement, ALINCO DJ-S45CQL to PMR at 2.5 V (equivalent to 2x NiMH, 2x NiCD) has a power set of just under 0.5 W, approx. 0.45 W.

On the LPD, the power is exactly 10mW.

But after the extension, everything changes. Low power is set to a pretty large 0.3 W after the extension.

The power (HI) will probably double from the original after the expansion, at 2.5V it gives about 0.8 W, at 3V already 1.2 W.

At 3.6 V, there's also a max of 1.5 W.

At 6V it gives a max of 2.4 W.

And above 6V the warning - red LED will flash.

Sensitivity is fantastic, 0.13 uV at 12dB SINAD! Measured on the internal test connector.
