Icom BC-144-21 is a motherboard fast charger designed for Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries. It comes with a 120 VAC BC145A wall adapter. It also includes an AD99 insert. The orientation of this spacer allows you to charge the battery itself, or connected to the V8.
